Infrastructural projects

All activities serve as part of projects to a common goal, namely the strengthening of the health sector in rural areas of Ghana and Africa. Our infrastructural projects are long term and will concentrate its activities in Ghana and thus allow the transfer into sustainable structures for the education and training of rural health systems in Africa. In addition, the infrastructure projects enabling the capacity of Ghana to develop eHealth systems, and will enable research to be driven by the actual needs of all target groups within the country’s health care system, while making sure that research outcomes will feed directly into basic training & further education of non-medical health care staff. For this purpose, it is planned to establish cooperation with relevant stakeholders, an eHealth campus, an international eHealth research  institute as well as a telemedicine centre. This approach will ensure a close integration of research, education and practice.
