Container 2 – Volta Region & SONAM

After our successful first container campaign last year, in which HITA was able to install the first campus WLAN in West Africa, which has been used productively by numerous students since then, HITA is going back to Ghana with a second, even more extensive project. In July technical equipment, medical equipment, teaching materials and countless gifts for students in Ghana were loaded and this container will arrive in Accra at the end of December. The 27th. On December a HITA team has also made a trip to Ghana, and the two teachers Petra Knott and Rachida Aouad from the Frankfurt Carlo-Mierendorff-Schule are also on board to sign a cooperation agreement with the Mawuku School. This time HITA will equip six schools, the SONAM University will also get a second computer lab on campus, medical facilities will receive equipment and furniture, school children will be given gifts and school utensils. We have a lot planned and will report about it here on our website as promptly and extensively as possible. Furthermore we are of course happy about help and donations, which we also urgently need for the realization of our innovative plans. Below are the articles that have been published so far on this project on our website, but also reports from the press.
